Coverage is available up to $15,000 Maximum for Eligible Medical Expenses and up to $25,000 for Emergency Medical Evacuation. An Acute Onset of a Pre-existing Condition is a sudden and unexpected outbreak or recurrence of a Pre-existing Condition which occurs spontaneously and without advance warning either in the form of Physician recommendations or symptoms. Treatment must be obtained within 24 hours of the sudden and unexpected outbreak or recurrence. NO Pre-Existing Coverage is provided for visitors over age 70 years.

Liaison International Insurance recently in 2012 added the new benefit of acute onset of a pre-existing condition benefit which provides US$15,000 lifetime maximum medical coverage and $25,000 lifetime maximum evacuation coverage for non-U.S. citizens up to age 70 traveling to the United States.

Liaison Majestic Insurance provides a maximum benefit of $3,000 coverage for pre-existing conditions such as myocardial infarction (heart attack) or stroke. It also offers, up to $200 per day for each night spent in the hospital after being admitted for either a heart attack or stroke.

Inbound USA Insurance provides visitors under age under 70 years upto $5,000 coverage for pre-existing conditions such as myocardial infarction (heart attack) or stroke. Visitors age 70 years and above are offered a lower benefit amount of $3,000 coverage for Myocardial Infarction (heart attack) or stroke.

Pre-existing Condition Coverage

A pre-existing condition is defined as any injury, illness, sickness, disease, or other physical, medical, mental or nervous condition, disorder or ailment that existed at the time of application or during the past duration(specified by each insurance plan) prior to the effective date of the insurance, including any subsequent, chronic or recurring complications or consequences related to thereto or arising thereffrom.

As no paperwork or medical check-up is required to purchase any plan, pre-existing conditions is determined by the physicians report ordered by insurance plan administrator directly from the doctor who has treated the insured visitor, whan a visitor insurance claim has been submitted.
